The reason for the loop is to allow a user to select any number of inputs from a 10x15 cell array. The problem is that after the loop is executed, the gui is not responding to any input. It acts as if it's sleeping or I can click the application until the loop is finished. I've tried to use start() and also sleep(100) before and after the loop. I've tried both on windows and mac. I've also tried running the GUI as well as the matlab interpreter, and the matlab interpreter has the same problem. I'd appreciate any advice. EDIT: As requested, here's the code (sorry for the inline comments): % create gui [Title,TitleSize,TitlePosition] = uigetstring('Title',... 'Insert title here','','fontweight','semibold'); set(gca,'FontSize',TitleSize) set(gca,'fontweight','semibold') % create GUI figure hFig = figure; % create uicontrols krow = length(str2num(Title)); kcol = length(str2num(Title)); kTitle = krow+kcol; set(hFig,'Menubar','none'); set(hFig,'WindowButtonUpDown','off'); for i=1:kTitle uicontrol('parent',hFig,... 'Style','Pushbutton',... 'pos',[3(i-1)+1 3(i-1)+2],'string',str2num(Title(i)),... 'callback',@frow); function frow(~) stringB = get(gca,'String'); stringA = get(hFig,'string'); if (isempty ac619d1d87
